The Ocean-LSAM consortium comprises Chalmers University of Technology (Project Coordinator), RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden's Application Center for Additive Manufacturing, Ekbacken Studios AB, Artex AB, and Ocean Tech Hub LDA.

Step 1
There are two aims of OCEAN-LSAM. The first one is to conduct a Step-1 six-month feasability study demonstrating an integrated, optimized process for LSAM using recycled ocean polyamide waste (end-of-life fishing nets).
Step 2
Subsequently, a Step-2 full-scale three-year project will be conducted and demonstrate the circular economy microfactory concept using LSAM of local recycled ocean polymers involving the entire supply chain.
